You can't make this stuff up...pinch hitter Donnie Murphy's two-run homer in the seventh gave Beachwood the lead and, providing a perfect bookend for this series, pinch-runner Rajai Davis,(representing the tying run) was thrown out stealing third to end the game. It really wouldn't have mattered...if we had tied it up, someone like Pedro Florimon would have taken my grade 22 reliever deep.

Great job by Nick with a bunch of nobodies in his lineup. He managed great, got a few breaks, and made the most of them. Now that we're done, every single shitbum on the god-awful Basselopes team is available in trades. Not that I'm bitter. ;)
