The pivotal game of the series was one of the best games of the year. Andy Dirks homered in the first but that was all Drew Smyly would give up in eight innings of work. Bar Harbor brought in Kyle Waldrop, who worked out of a jam in the fourteenth but in the top of the fifteenth he gave up a lead single to Chris Johnson. Edwin Nunez came in to pinch run and promptly stole second base and then Dan Cooper singled in the go-ahead run. Nick's got a tough team and he manages them very well. They will make a formidable foe for
the American League champ in the first DosBall Worl Series. Thanks to Nick, the Commish,
and everyone for making this such an amazingly fun season. The Basselopes will be ready to
deal as soon as the season ends!
